It is from the ‘Aqeedah of the Muslim to love the companions of the Prophet, supplicate for them and speak only good about them.

We must have great concern for them and defend their honour more than we defend ourselves and our families.

In the Qur’an, Allah praises all the companions of the Prophet Muhammad. He describes the companions as the chosen ones, preferred as the best nation, and they will be witnesses over the nations. Allah says that no one is like those who accompanied the Prophet Muhammad.
